The Huckins Story

Huckins Construction was founded in 2014 by Mike Huckins and his wife Stacey Pirri-Huckins, shortly after they were married. The idea came from a problem they kept hearing about from friends and family throughout the Niles area — the difficulty of finding a contractor who was not only skilled and experienced, but also reliable, communicative, and professional in how they ran their business.

Mike brought over 20 years of construction experience to the table, with skills built across every area of the trade. Stacey brought a strong background in business operations. Together they built Huckins Construction into one of Southwest Michigan's trusted names in residential remodeling and construction.

From the beginning, Mike's goal extended beyond running a successful business. He wanted to use Huckins Construction as a place to invest in and train the next generation of skilled tradespeople, equipping them to serve homeowners and businesses across Berrien County, Cass County, and the surrounding communities in Southwest Michigan and Northern Indiana.
